Cookie policy
Everything you need to know about the cookies set by calerys.com — and how to manage them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your device on later visits and to provide certain features.
The word “cookie” also covers similar technologies: pixels, web beacons, browser local storage (localStorage), session identifiers.
2. Cookies used by Calerys
Calerys uses a limited number of cookies, sorted into two categories.
2.1 Essential cookies (consent-exempt)

The PostHog instance used is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt), with anonymised IP and training opt-out. No data is shared with advertisers.
2.3 Marketing cookies (consent required)
If — and only if — you enable the marketing category in the consent banner, we use Meta's Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram. These cookies are never set without your prior consent.
| Cookie | Issuer | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | Ad conversion measurement | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta | Attribution of an ad click to a conversion | 90 days |
- When: only if you accept the marketing category.
- What: Meta Pixel (browser) + Conversions API (server).
- Data sent to Meta: your SHA-256-hashed email, your SHA-256-hashed phone number, browsing and purchase events, and the Facebook identifiers _fbp and _fbc.
- Recipient: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR).
- Duration: per Meta's retention policy.
- How to withdraw consent: via the "Manage cookies" button at the bottom of the page.
We never sell your data and use no data brokers. Our use of Meta is limited to measuring advertising effectiveness and improving the product — no intrusive behavioural tracking beyond what is necessary. No Google Ads, no TikTok Pixel.
3. Consent management

Eatten Sàrl has no control over these third-party cookies and refers you to the respective policies of those publishers.
5. Retention period
